About Dr. Garcia M.D., Ph. D.
Fred Garcia, M.D., Ph. D. is a board certified physician practicing in Southern California and serves as the founder and medical director of Quantum Medical Associates. Dr. Garcia received his medical degree from the University of California-Irvine. He did a pediatric internship at USC-LA County and did his residency at UCLA. He has been a clinical attending physician at USC School of Medicine for 12 years. He has lectured internationally at Erasmus Medical school, Rotterdam, Holland, and Bier Shiva Medical School-Israel. He has been a visiting professor at Cordova University-Argentina, University of Brazil-Rio de Jenero and Ching Mai Medical School-Thailand.
Dr. Garcia has trained under many pioneers in the study of Integrative Medicine. He spent two years studying Oriental Medicine at Emperors College in Santa Monica, CA. He has also trained under Dr. M.J. Ongley, the leading authority in Orthopedic Medicine at his clinic in Mexico. He spent time studying oxidology and the Bradford microscope (18k mag) with Dr. Bradford at his research center in Chula Vista, CA. He also studied with Dr. Frank Shelenburger Bio oxidative medicine & oxidology in Reno, Nevada, ozone therapy. Finally, he has studied under Abdula Kalill, the president of A.S.A.M.I. and pioneer in non-surgical aesthetic medicine at his clinic in Miami Beach. Dr. has also been a bacteriologist and has worked for the Food and Drug administration.
